APGA Returning Officer Escapes Death, 3 Agents Injured In Nassarawa

Reports filtering in from the fields has it that the returning officer of the All Progressive Alliance, APGA, has escaped death by the whiskers while three of his agents where left injured after being mobbed by some alleged APC thugs. The officer, Mr. Solomon Peter who spoke to our correspondent, said he needs the help of security operatives to help him leave the Muslim dominated Chiroma ward, Lafia LGA, the second largest in the country. According to him, “the APC has sent thugs to scuttle elections in Agawan Mangu polling Unit.” When asked if the security operatives present are aware of the development, he responded by saying “there are just one civil defense and a police officer here. So far they don’t seem to concern about it since the crowd is overwhelming and violent in nature.”
